FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER I

Job Description

Hourly Pay Rate: $26-$35 (dependent on tier I, II, III) Basic maintenance repairs with electrical and plumbing. Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, they perform a variety of skilled duties within the city's facilities.

Skills and Requirements

Knowledge of: Methods, materials, tools, terminology and equipment used in the building maintenance trades including electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, locksmithing and painting. Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies. Requirements of maintaining facilities and utilities.
