Standard Job Description

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or rleated discipline from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education

  • Ability to travel to other LM Space campuses to perform Certified Test Conductor (CTC) activities (up to 15-20%)

  • US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance

Desired Skills

  • Prefer a Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering

  • Certified Test Conductor experience

  • Pressurization (compressed gases) experience

  • Communicates well with others

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Fundamental knowledge of Spacecraft propulsion test operations

  • Fundamental knowledge of Apriso, Automation Framework, and MS

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
