Junior Low Voltage Technician

Description

The Level 1 Technician supports the installation and maintenance of low-voltage communications infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with technical training in electrical, telecommunications, or structured cabling systems who are looking to develop hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Install and support fiber and copper cabling systems

Assist with structured cabling and network infrastructure projects

Perform equipment mounting, racking, and cable management

Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

Support CCTV, security, access control, and telecommunications installations

Troubleshoot basic connectivity and cabling issues

Maintain job-site safety standards

Assist with warehouse activities and material handling as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to work in an outdoor or indoor construction work environment. Self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s). Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners. Technician must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements. Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
