Responsibilities

As part of the Call Center Team, Provide exceptional customer service to assist established clients during scheduled sales phone calls. Implement telemarketing strategies in order to drive results.

  • Manages daily call list. Contacts Lottery retailers to promote new products, place orders, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Answers inbound calls in addition to managing scheduled outbound calls.

  • Works in partnership with Lottery Field Sales Staff to develop strategies to help retailers increase their sales performance and profits.

  • Develops an understanding of the customer’s needs and the products that are best suited to each customer.

  • Reviews and processes incoming ticket orders received from both lottery sales representatives and retailers.

  • Provides support for key accounts and helps coordinate change of ownership transitions.

  • Provides information to retailers on upcoming lottery promotions and contests.

  • Educates retailers on instant ticket policies and procedures.

  • Works with retailers in troubleshooting and correcting incorrect shipment of orders.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma

  • Associates Degree preferred.

Years of Experience:

  • 2 years of work experience preferably in a customer service role

Other

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

  • Professional phone etiquette

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $13.99/hr – $23.80/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, identity theft insurance, and participation in our Employee Referral Bonus Program, which rewards eligible employees for helping bring great talent to Brightstar.
