HOMEOWNERSHIP COORDINATOR

HOMEOWNERSHIP COORDINATOR: The Gloucester Housing Authority is seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven individual to provide support, counseling, and case management to participants in the Authority's Homeownership Programs. This is a part-time, 15-hour per week position. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Provide case management and individualized counseling for pre-purchase, post-purchase, and foreclosure-prevention homeownership programs. Conduct zoom workshops and one-on-one counseling sessions. Maintain accurate participant records, complete required data entry, and process eligibility determinations. Prepare reports and ensure compliance with HUD and program requirements. Provide referrals to outside agencies for financial assistance, credit counseling, and related services. Disseminate program information to applicants, participants, and community partners. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in banking, real estate, mortgage lending, credit counseling, or first-time homebuyer programs required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organized records. Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn program-specific software. Must obtain HUD Homeownership Counselor Certification within the first year of employment.
