Job Description

Independently perform analyses and implement data, software, or technology solutions to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible products in a timely manner, under the direction of a more senior leader. Demonstrate technical precision and strong analytical skills. Possess good understanding of software development and technology infrastructure (including servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments), and general understanding of data integration and warehousing, and data analysis and visualization tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results.

  • Analyze and critique results, noting significant variances or deviations.

  • Troubleshoot algorithms, protocols, and software programs.

  • Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of our business.

  • Learn and understand new methods and technologies.

  • Obtain estimates/quotes from vendors and provide as input into overall project time and cost estimates.

  • Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work products.

  • Ensure adherence to AbbVie’s Corporate and Divisional Policies regarding code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the SDLC.

  • Leverage AWS expertise to architect solutions that are high-performance, cost-optimized, and reliable for global operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with software development lifecycle principles, including version control (git), CICD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments for quality and operational platforms.

  • Experience with C#, Java, or other modern programming languages (Python, Node.js, etc.).

  • Experience with .Net frameworks.

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of quality system requirements (GxP, FDA, ISO 9001), and regulatory technology practices.

Preferred:

  • 6 years of IT-related work experience.

  • Strong passion for learning new software technologies, especially AI and analytics.

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Technology certifications are highly preferred, AWS certifications a plus.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
