Senior Financial Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning activities for a contract assignment in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This role will focus on building reporting capabilities, supporting the annual budgeting process, and delivering financial insights within a health pharm/biotech environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Anaplan expertise and can quickly contribute to planning, analysis, and implementation-related work. Anaplan experience is required. This role is hybrid onsite, 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine financial reports and dashboards to improve visibility into business performance and planning outcomes.

• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to coordinate the annual budget cycle and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.

• Use Anaplan to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities across the organization.

• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and present actionable findings to support decision-making.

• Assist with implementation-related planning tasks, including setting up new reporting structures and validating data outputs.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses that help leadership evaluate budgets, forecasts, and operational performance.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, with hands-on involvement in annual budgeting.

• Strong working knowledge of Anaplan, including reporting, planning, or model support activities.

• Background in creating and enhancing financial reports for management and business stakeholders.

• Experience supporting implementation initiatives tied to planning or reporting processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly.

• Ability to work effectively in a contract role within a fast-paced health pharm/biotech setting.
