Senior Tax Manager / Senior Tax Accountant
About the Opportunity
A well-established and highly respected public accounting firm in Fairfield County is seeking a Senior Tax Manager / Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing team. Responsibilities

Manage and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, trust, and estate tax engagements

Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients

Develop and maintain trusted client relationships while serving as a strategic advisor

Review and prepare financial statements, compilations, and reviews

Research and communicate complex tax matters and planning opportunities

Mentor and develop junior staff members

Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support business growth initiatives

Requirements
Qualifications
-
CPA designation required
-
5+ years of public accounting tax experience
-
Strong background in tax planning, tax consulting, and tax compliance

Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements, compilations, and reviews
-
Client-facing experience with closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
-
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
-
Experience with a local or regional CPA firm preferred
-
Prior experience at a small-to-mid-sized Fairfield County CPA firm is highly desirable
