Location: Berkeley, MO
Job Type: Full-Time | 10-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $54.32 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Project Manager in Berkeley, Missouri.
In this role, you'll be at the center of complex technical and facility-focused initiatives, transforming requirements into executable plans and ensuring projects remain aligned with schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations. You'll coordinate across technical experts, engineering and facilities teams, funding managers, and other key stakeholders to keep projects moving from initiation through successful completion.

What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and driving project execution across multiple stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain project plans and schedules in accordance with project management standards.

Receive technical requirements from capability experts and validate that requirements are ready for execution.

Identify missing information, gaps, or ambiguities and coordinate clarification with appropriate technical stakeholders.
-
Partner with facility project management teams to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure supporting projects align with technical requirements and timelines.
-
Manage supporting projects from initiation through completion.
-
Conduct trend, variance, impact, and risk analyses to identify constraints and potential impacts to project performance.
-
Track and report project financials, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC), capital funding, and expense funding .
-
Prepare financial projections and provide updates to funding managers.

Create and maintain project schedules, dashboards, reports, metrics, and other reporting artifacts.

Communicate schedule changes and updates to scheduling teams and key stakeholders.
-
Facilitate stakeholder coordination and project status meetings.
-
Maintain clear traceability between technical requirements and facility project deliverables.
-
Identify and monitor risks, dependencies, execution gaps, and schedule constraints.

Drive accountability for action items and milestone commitments.
-
Maintain structured project documentation and decision records throughout the project lifecycle.

Support performance recovery planning when projects encounter challenges.
-
Identify opportunities to strengthen project management processes, business systems, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
We're looking for a results-oriented professional with:
-
2+ years of project management experience supporting technical and/or facility projects.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage the execution of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-
Proven ability to interpret, manage, and synthesize complex technical information.
-
Exceptional listening skills with the ability to ask precise, effective clarifying questions.
-
Experience coordinating with engineering, facilities, and/or infrastructure teams .
-
Financial tracking experience, including EAC/ETC, capital, and expense funding .
-
Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.
-
Excellent time management skills and the discipline to work independently.
-
Ability to take direction and execute effectively while respecting established technical authority.
-
High attention to detail with strong ownership and follow-through.
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree with typically 6 or more years of related work experience, or
-
Master's degree with typically 4 or more years of related work experience, or
-
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates will stand out with:
-
Experience supporting technical capability stand-up or facility infrastructure projects .
-
Familiarity with Statement of Work development .
-
Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools .
-
Experience working within highly technical or regulated environments.
-
Formal project management education or training.
-
PMP preparation, PMP certification, or similar project management credentials .

Pay Details: $54.32 per hour
