Full job description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is detail-oriented, organized, ensures compliance with rules and regulations, and is interested in working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position serves as a Labor/Employment Relations Representative/Specialist for the Department of Transportation.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience working in a human resource office.
  • Experience working as a labor/employee relations representative.
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and explain information from various sources.
  • Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.

This position generally requires the education acquired through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
