As the Management Company Accounting & Finance Manager, you'll serve as the primary finance lead for the firm's management company entities, owning accounting, financial operations, payroll, benefits administration, and key business initiatives. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management company accounting, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting

• Oversee cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis

• Manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration

• Serve as the primary contact for HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management

• Coordinate with external audit, tax, payroll, accounting, and HR service providers

• Support tax filings, compliance requirements, and firm-level reporting obligations

• Partner with leadership on financial analysis, operational improvements, and special projects

• Enhance processes, controls, and reporting capabilities to support continued growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting, finance, or operational finance experience

• Experience within venture capital, private equity, investment management, financial services, or a similar professional environment preferred

• Strong general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting expertise

• Experience managing payroll, benefits, and HR-related processes

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment

• CPA designation is a plus, but not required
