Position Requirements: - Minimum 2+ years of current or recent retail mortgage origination experience (Encompass preferred) - Experience with FHA, VA, and Conventional loans - Goal-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to generate self-sourced business and provide excellent customer service to company-provided leads - Cultivate external Realtor/Business development contacts. - Proven history of success in the mortgage industry - Excellent customer service skills and work ethic. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to present lending knowledge and information in group or event settings - Registered with NMLS (No state licenses required, as we are a Federally Chartered Credit Union) - What We Offer: - Walk-in leads, call-in leads, and a branch referral network - In-house processing and underwriting - AACU is a Full Eagle FHA lender, a Direct Endorsement VA lender, and a Correspondent level Conventional Mortgage Banker with unique first-time homebuyer and down payment assistance programs - Aggressive portfolio loan products providing a wider range of lending possibilities - Our typical Mortgage Loan Officer has been with AACU for over 10 years - Federally Chartered Credit Union lending in all 50 states - Fully equipped office - Competitive commission structure AACU is an innovative, full-service financial institution committed to its employees providing value-driven products, convenient electronic banking channels, and world-class member service.
