Compensation
Salary Range: $24.50 - $24.75 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Environmental Services (EVS) Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the exterior and grounds of the hospital to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment. This position includes responsibilities such as minor landscaping, parking maintenance, painting, and power washing, along with routine facility upkeep. The Environmental Services Maintenance Technician also assists with regular EVS duties when required. A high degree of flexibility, self-motivation, and reliability is essential. The position may involve the use of power tools and requires a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
Required:

Valid CA driver’s license
-
Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under Community Memorial Healthcare’s insurance coverages

Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in facilities maintenance, groundskeeping or janitorial work

Knowledge of landscaping and exterior building upkeep

Painting and minor repair experience

Experience in a healthcare environment
