Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale infrastructure and data center-related projects supporting Corning across multiple locations in North Carolina. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a proven project leader who excels at managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, and overall project execution.

This role is focused on project delivery and financial management, not hands-on technical programming or security integration work. Candidates with experience in construction, telecom, utilities, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or technology project environments are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects supporting Corning's fiber and data center initiatives. Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and customer expectations are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams. Oversee project execution, resource coordination, risk management, and issue resolution. Drive successful service delivery while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are achieved. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.

Skills and Requirements

Proven project management experience within a technical or infrastructure-related environment. Experience supporting projects involving: Building automation systems (BAS) Fire alarm systems Electronic security systems Construction Telecom / Fiber Industrial or manufacturing projects Data center infrastructure Strong financial management and cost-control experience. Experience managing multiple stakeholders and customer relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Ability to manage conflict and drive solutions in fast-paced environments. Experience overseeing large-scale projects with significant budgets and schedules. Experience supporting fiber, telecommunications, or data center projects. Demonstrated success managing projects valued at several million dollars. Experience working with enterprise customers in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or technology environments. PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred but not required.
