Social Worker for Nephrology, Kidney Transplant and Dialysis Location: Burnet Campus, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati OH 45229 Full-time, 40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, Day Shift Job Qualification Requirements: * Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required. * Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Ohio required. * Past experience preferred but not required. About the Division of Social Services At Cincinnati Children's, our clinical social workers understand that managing any type of illness or hospitalization is a stressful experience. As members on every medical team, the clinical social workers provide ongoing support and counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and connection to community resources. What We Do Families and caregivers with children that are coping with a medical and/or psychiatric condition can experience difficulties and hardships that impact their emotional, social, and financial well-being. Families and caregivers may also find challenges as they navigate through the complex medical system. Our clinical social workers provide comprehensive services to assist patients & families through their journey. The clinical social worker can assist with emotional support and counseling, family issues/conflicts, safety concerns, discharge coordination, and access to community resources.
