Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Drive pickups, tractors, and other equipment to swath, rake, bale, store, distribute hay (feed) to animals; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Use shovels and hand tools to dig trenches to control water flow; Operate power pole saw, chain saw to cut trees; Unload from trailer; Work will be performed in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, rain, humidity, snow. In view of the statutorily established basic function of the ES as a no-fee labor exchange, that is, as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the ETA nor the SWAs are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers.
