Description Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales) Must live in one of these areas: - Memphis or Nashville, TN - Chicago, IL - Los Angeles/Inland Empire, CA - Atlanta, GA - Houston, TX - Indianapolis, IN - Columbus, or Cincinnati or Dayton, OH - Philadelphia or Lehigh Valley, PA - Detroit, MI - Denver, CO - Fridley, MN - Phoenix, AZ - Salt Lake City, UT - Albuquerque, NM - Tulsa, OK - Austin, TX - Cheltenham, PA - Charlotte, NC - Kansas City, MI - Orlando, FL - Raleigh, NC - St. Louis, MO - Jacksonville, FL ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a driven, curious, and resilient Sales Development Representative to join our Inside Sales Team. This is not a holding pattern role; it is the first chapter of a clearly defined career in sales. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings through a mix of outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. You will work closely with your field sales counterparts to hand off those meetings, ensuring every introduction is well-briefed, timely, and set up to convert. This role is also the foundation of your sales career. The skills, commercial instincts, and client relationships you build here are what will prepare you for promotion to Business Development Manager within 6 to 12 months, where you will own the full sales cycle from first conversation to close. This role is built on two foundations. First, execution: showing up, doing the work, and consistently delivering output. Second, growth: developing the judgment, curiosity, and persuasion skills that turn a good SDR into a great closer. WHAT YOU'LL DO Pipeline generation - Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other tools to identify and engage potential clients - Qualify inbound leads using a structured framework, assessing fit, urgency, and decision-making authority - Book qualified meetings and hand them off to a BDM with a thorough, well-prepared brief - Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets Client engagement - Research target accounts before outreach, understand their business, hiring challenges, and the commercial impact of those challenges - Ask enough of the right questions during outreach to qualify the opportunity and set your BDM up for a strong first conversation - Handle common objections confidently and credibly, influencing rather than scripting your way through conversations - Follow up on the outcomes of your handoffs, stay curious about what happens after the meeting is booked and use it to sharpen your approach Collaboration - Work closely with your BDM counterparts, providing thorough meeting briefs and acting as a reliable first point of contact for new prospects - Keep Salesforce records accurate and up to date, logging all activity and tracking pipeline stages - Participate in call reviews, coaching sessions, and team huddles, rapidly applying feedback to improve your approach - Contribute to a culture of high activity, honest feedback, and shared accountability WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We hire for two things: the ability to execute today, and the potential to grow
