Organization: ABSMC-Ashby Campus Position Overview: Short-Hour Position: 1 variable 8-hour shift per week. Includes at least one weekend shift every other week. Shifts may be scheduled during the day, evening, or night.

Under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. May have individual responsibility for specified radiographic procedures and/or be assigned various duties including student instructions and lead duties. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • Other: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

  • Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined to be adequate by the Assistant Director.

Pay Range is $63.00 to $80.28 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
