Dimensional Inspector

The Role: The Dimensional Inspector ensures the quality of all products produced within the organization meets all internal/external standards by performing product testing and collecting / entering raw data into the specific inspection logs. This individual should have the ability to work as a team, make decisions about the parts they are handling, and work closely with their supervisor to ensure the proper handling of parts and job duties. Being a friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills is necessary for this role. ** ** Responsibilities: · Inspects for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc. · Perform visual and accurate dimensional inspections on parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformance with standards and requirements. · Complete inspection records and reports and record data accordingly and accurately. · Identify and report non-conformances.
