Job Description:

Cintas is seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt I to lead process improvement initiatives and support data-driven operational decisions across our van-delivered service business. Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, this role partners with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve route efficiency, capacity utilization, productivity, customer service, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing analytical and project leadership roles to complete improvement initiatives on time, achieve measurable results, and ensure sustainable gains

  • Evaluating route capacity, productivity, and operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities

  • Supporting route growth and optimization initiatives through analysis and recommendations

  • Developing and delivering training on Lean, Six Sigma, innovation, and change management methodologies

  • Facilitating workshops, assessments, and problem-solving sessions

  • Creating reports, dashboards, and business analyses to support decision-making

  • Partnering with corporate and field leaders to drive operational improvements

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing large data sets

  • Green Belt certification or equivalent

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations

  • Ability to travel up to 25-40%, including overnight stays

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Analytics, Finance, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience with Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies, business analytics, process improvement, operational planning, or related experience

  • Experience supporting route optimization, capacity planning, territory planning, logistics, or service operations analytics

  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools

  • Experience building business cases and financial analyses

  • Experience teaching or facilitating classroom-based training

  • Strong facilitation and change management skills
