Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to work at one of our top clients that is a fortune 250 company. This person is going to be assisting with the network migrations of one acquired company into a parent company. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously while assisting with the team to integrate the network. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of Parker's global network infrastructure across data centers, WAN, LAN, and wireless environments
  • Serve as the technical lead and highest escalation point for complex networking issues
  • Drive network transformation initiatives, including Cisco ACI deployments and modernization efforts
  • Partner with IT leadership and vendors to develop networking strategy, standards, and long-term roadmaps
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to global network engineering teams
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Support and optimize technologies including Cisco ACI, Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, F5, and related networking platforms. This role is roughly 65-70hr

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise networking experience with strong Routing & Switching expertise (BGP, OSPF)
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Cisco ACI experience
  • Experience with Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator (NDO)
  • Experience leading large-scale network transformation/modernization projects
  • SD-WAN experience (Velocloud preferred)
  • F5 Load Balancer experience
  • Cisco ISE and/or Cisco Catalyst Center experience
