Key Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination— Act as the main point of contact for assigned group and social events, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.

  • Event Detailing— Coordinate agendas, room setups, menus, audiovisual needs, billing instructions, and special requests.

  • Cross‑Department Collaboration— Partner closely with Sales, Event Services, Culinary, AV, and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution.

  • Pre‑Event Leadership— Lead pre‑event meetings and clearly communicate event requirements to internal teams.

  • Client Relationship Management— Host site inspections, maintain strong planner relationships, and provide timely follow‑up and post‑event communication.

  • Record Keeping— Maintain accurate event files, room block management, pickup reports, and billing documentation.

  • Team Partnership— Work closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and collaborate with the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • 1–3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred

  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge and event‑planning systems

  • Extremely detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Prefer two years of hotel experience or completion of an Event Management trainee program
