DEPENDABLE AND EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER - DAYTIME, EVENING, AND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS IN BLAIR COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Blair County, PA | $16-$20/hour based on experience and client needs plus incentives We’re Looking for People We Can Count On. If you’re an experienced caregiver who shows up, communicates, follows through, and takes pride in your work, we want to meet you. At Griswold Home Care for Blair County, PA, our clients depend on us for consistency and peace of mind. That means we need caregivers who understand that reliability and communication are just as important as compassion. We’re looking for experienced caregivers who want to build lasting relationships with clients and become trusted members of their care team. This position may be a great fit if you: * Have 2+ years of experience caring for older adults in a home care or facility setting * Take your scheduled shifts seriously * Arrive on time and are prepared to work * Communicate promptly when an issue arises * Are comfortable working independently in a client's home * Follow care plans and office instructions * Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or needs and communicate them appropriately * Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done * Treat clients, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect If you frequently cancel shifts, arrive late, or have difficulty communicating with an office team, this position is probably not the right fit. Our clients deserve caregivers they can depend on, and our office team needs caregivers who communicate with us when something changes. We don't expect perfection. We do expect honesty, accountability, and communication. What We Offer We value experienced caregivers and want you to feel supported by the team behind you. * $17–$22/hour, based on experience and client needs * Annual performance reviews * AVA Bonus Program * Caregiver referral bonus opportunities * Overtime opportunities * Paid holidays when working * 401(k) * Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of service * Ongoing training and professional development * Support from an experienced local office team * Opportunities for additional hours based on client needs and your availability What You'll Do As an in-home caregiver, you'll help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include: * Companionship and meaningful engagement * Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living * Meal preparation * Light housekeeping * Medication reminders * Mobility and safety assistance * Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities * Following individualized care plans * Observing and reporting changes in a client's needs * Communicating appropriately with the office * Maintaining accurate and timely documentation * Creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for each client What Makes a Great Griswold Caregiver? We’re not just looking for someone who can complete a checklist. We're looking for caregivers who: SHOW UP. You understand that your client may be counting on you to be there. COMMUNICATE. You keep the office informed and don't leave people guessing when something changes. FOLLOW THROUGH. When you say you'll do something, you do it. PAY ATTENTION. You notice when something isn't quite right and speak up. TAKE OWNERSHIP. You look for ways to make your client's day better instead of simply doing the bare minimum. TREAT PEOPLE WITH DIGNITY. You understand that you're working in someone's home and respect their independence, privacy, and preferences. Schedule We are currently seeking caregivers interested in daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. Most shifts fall between: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Occasional overnight opportunities may also be available. Schedules vary based on client needs, so please apply only if you are comfortable committing to the shifts you accept. Requirements Required: * 2+ years of experience caring for older adults * High School Diploma or GED * Authorized to work in the United States * Valid driver's license * Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently * Three strong professional references Preferred: * Previous in-home caregiving experience * Reliable personal vehicle * Valid car insurance * Experience with personal care * Experience working with clients with dementia or other age-related conditions * Experience communicating with families and care teams Why Griswold Home Care? At Griswold, we believe great caregivers deserve to work for a company that recognizes their experience and supports them in the field. Our caregivers aren't expected to handle everything alone. You have an office team behind you, and we value open communication when questions or concerns arise. We want you to succeed because when our caregivers succeed, our clients receive better care. Ready to Join Our Team? If you're an experienced caregiver who is dependable, communicative, professional, and genuinely takes pride in caring for older adults, we want to hear from you. Apply today and tell us about your caregiving experience. After you apply, keep an eye out for a follow-up pre-screen survey. Completing the survey is an important first step in our hiring process. We’re not looking for just anyone. We’re looking for caregivers our clients can count on.
