Metrology Lab Technician performing dimensional measurements, calibrations and repairs to gages in support of production operations, product, manufacturing and quality engineering.
Performs dimensional measurements of all product parameters to support production, manufacturing, quality and product engineering. Is responsible for ordering, studying, repairing and calibrating all laboratory and production floor gaging. Dimensionally inspects initial production components and assemblies for customer approval. Performs annual dimensional inspection on all production components and assemblies machined and assembled in house.
Safety and Health – Responsible for completing required safety training, reporting and correcting any unsafe practices as appropriate, completing work activities in a safe manner, and complying with safety and health requirements for respective position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
Required Education and Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

One to three years of related experience is required.

Basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word is required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-
Knowledge in engineering print reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Proper use and calibration of precision measuring instruments.

Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine programming.

Familiarity with statistical analysis including Minitab software.
Position is a weekend shift position. Must be able to work Friday-Monday.
Salary Range:
$48,400 - $66,550
