HVAC/Refrigeration Service Manager

KASLO, LLC Laconia Refrigeration and New England Mechanical Job Description Title: HVAC/Refrigeration Service Manager Reports to: Operations Manager Summa ry of Position: Manage, develop, and train a team of service technicians and preventive maintenance technicians to work independently and efficiently. Provide leadership to all the service/preventive maintenance technicians who install, fix, and maintain the units, ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish of each job. Duties and Res p onsibilities : Manage, develop, and lead HVAC service staff by training, and reviewing the performance of all service technicians and service operations staff. Assist General Manager in hiring and terminating of employees. Manage the training of new employees so they quickly become part of the team and have a clear understanding of the process and procedures, and company culture. Maintain a well-trained team that is up to date on new technology, that they use tools and materials properly and provide each customer with quality workmanship. Provide customers with price estimations for parts and labor; effectively estimate project hours for specific services and coordinate with team to shorten downtime. Order, schedule delivery of parts and materials and obtain permits when required on quoted jobs to be "just-in-time" for the job, if possible. Manage job sites by digital communication and in-person visits to ensure a smooth and efficient project. Work with customers and team to provide technical support, resolve
