CASINO FLOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTENDANT

Casino Floor Customer Service Attendant job description summary:

The casino floor customer service attendant is responsible for various service areas of the Operations department.

Essential duties of the casino floor customer service attendant include the following:

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Responsible for the morale and direction of all front-line associates.

  • Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, if possible.

  • Responsible for providing racing programs and the removal of bill and ticket jams in the self-bet machines in the VLT building and hotel.

  • All other duties as assigned to the casino floor customer service attendant.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises the activities of Operations Attendants and directly supervises the activities of all VLT systems in the VLT building.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems with customers and departmental associates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Previous work experience with the public preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules and regulations, technical procedure manuals, instructions, and basic correspondence, reports and memos.
