Physical RequirementsThis position requires regularly standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working in confined spaces and/or at heights above four feet. Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.

ShiftPrimarily days, Monday through Friday; rotating weekends and holidays.

Job SummaryThis position will assist physical and occupational therapists perform direct patient care. Will also assist with daily departmental operations including equipment cleaning and light office duties. This position will support both Chandler and Good Samaritan inpatient therapy departments.

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThe ideal candidate will be dependable, have high attention to detail, be self-directed, and have excellent customer service skills.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceHealthcare experience in a PT/OT setting such as outpatient clinic, rehab facility, or hospital.
