Position Overview:

This is a great opportunity for a Jr. Developer for to join a team of software gurus supporting the Air National Guard. You'll be working on a close knit team with a supportive customer. The candidate may not have experience with everything that we use here, but they should demonstrate the potential to learn and utilize new skills quickly. The candidate must have experience interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in sprints/development cycles

• Design and implement solutions based on customer requirements

• Implement technically complex features

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle

Required Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of relative work experience the following

• Microsoft .NET technologies

• JavaScript

• Solution design

• Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)

• Full stack development

• Security+ or other IAT level II certification or higher

• Knowledge of or Experience with Internet Information Server (IIS)

• Knowledge of or Experience with multiple software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kahnban, or Waterfall)

• Knowledge of or Experience with Git and Team Foundation Server

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Be located within 2 hours of Andrews Air Force Base, MD

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain the necessary US security clearance per the contract requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Experience creating scripts to building out development environments

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Cloud experience

• Knowledge or experience with load balancing development and web farm/clusters

• Experience supporting an Air Force customer

• Experience creating PowerShell scripts

• Experience working in a secure environment with sensitive data
