PROJECT MANAGER III
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide a focal point for all contract work within Wolverine Proctor Ltd. This work will encompass the complete scope of contract portfolio management for the company’s industrial machinery range required to be delivered on-time and within budget. Cap-Ex value range from £20K-£10M. Incorporating managing contract terms, scheduling, suppliers/contractors, procurement/cost tracking, commercials, problem solving and documentation. The role demands a comprehensive experience of running concurrent, customer-facing, large capital equipment contracts and aftermarket/dev work. The PM is the main POC for customers/suppliers/contractors, will chair progress meetings, work with other teams in CPM and issue reports to the management team. There may be the requirement to participate in Project meetings either local, national, international or remote.
Being a self-starter with great autonomy skills, you will have the ability to manage multiple contracts at once to ensure the company’s commitments are met. Your experience in project management processes will be utilised in order that the contracts are closely-managed with regular feedback issued, and where required, implementation of continuous improvement.
You will need to chair, attend or participate in any operational/engineering/customer review meetings; as well as contribute to the generation of all contract documentation. In summation, you will work with the Wolverine Proctor team to efficiently execute all scheduled contract deliverables from Sales order to the coordination of site install/commissioning and close-out reviews.
All machinery will require the completion of pre-delivery-inspections and preparation and generation of relevant engineering report documentation to support the contracts.
Key Skills/ Experience

Minimum 3yrs experience of concurrent high-value contract management of industrial machinery essential.

History of liaising with cross-functional teams and working collaboratively to achieve common goals.

Proven experience of on-time & on-budget delivery.
-
Customer facing experience and strong communication skills.
-
Preferable qualified skills in negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving.
-
High commercial awareness with an eye for contractual detail.
-
The ability to understand and co-ordinate mechanical and electrical packages.
-
Must be able to interpret technical drawings – general arrangements, P&ID.

Experience of continuous industrial processes and FMCG.
-
Highly-versed in planning and preparing workloads.
-
Experience of regular progress reporting to senior management.
-
Thermal transfer knowledge and process sizing is ideal.
-
Adept in change order creation, management, and project cost tracking and analysis.

Experience of regulatory certification requirements such as CE, ATEX, etc.

Understanding of continuous improvement of the Project Management processes.

SAP experience ideal.

History of working with remote teams in all parts of the world.

Providing proactive support to other departments to hit deliverables.
Qualifications

Qualified to Degree level (Mech/Elec/Chem) with minimum 3 years’ experience of contract management.

Ideally qualified in PMI or equivalent.

Proficient in standard MS office suite of programmes, including Teams, SharePoint, Project and Power BI.

Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to work in isolation as well as a team.

Methodical approach and pragmatic delivery to meet deadlines.

Have a flexible and proactive approach to working and a customer-focused, professional attitude.
