Daycare Aide at The Mustard Seed Learning Center Location: Fairburn, SD Hours (Flexible dependent on staff): - Now through December: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Starting January: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM About Us The Mustard Seed Learning Center is a proctored homeschool and early learning program rooted in faith, curiosity, and creativity. Our mission is simple but meaningful: to plant the seed of curiosity and nurture the vine of creativity in every child who walks through our doors. We care for and teach children ages of all ages, offering a warm, family-style environment where learning happens through play, exploration, and hands-on discovery. About the Role Were looking for a Daycare Aide who has a true love for children and a heart for helping them grow academically, socially, and creatively. This person will help care for our littlest learners and lend a hand to our homeschool teachers with the older kids as needed. From story time and art projects to outdoor play and early learning activities, your days will be filled with joy, laughter, and purpose. If you enjoy being part of a small, supportive team and love creating an environment where children feel safe, seen, and inspired this could be the perfect fit for you. What Youll Be Doing - Caring for children with patience, attention, and genuine love. - Helping with meals, snacks, naps, and diapering/potty training routines. - Assisting teachers with lessons, crafts, and activities for both early learners and homeschool students. - Creating a safe, clean, and cheerful space for children to learn and play. - Joining in on the fun building blocks, reading books, doing crafts, and exploring outdoors. - Supporting our mission to build a community rooted in kindness, curiosity, and creativity. What Were Looking For - Someone who genuinely loves working with kids and being part of their growth journey. - A reliable, caring, and upbeat person who shows up ready to make each day meaningful. - A great communicator who can work well with both children and fellow teachers. - Must be able to pass a background check (required). - Experience in childcare, early education, or homeschool settings is a plus but heart and enthusiasm matter most!
