Traveling Sales Representative -- Full Time Location: Rock Springs, Wyoming Company: Wyoming First Aid & Safety Supply Wyoming First Aid & Safety Supply is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Traveling Sales Representative based out of Rock Springs, Wyoming. This is a full-time traveling position serving customers throughout Wyoming, the Nebraska Panhandle, and western South Dakota. The employee will travel Monday through Friday and should be comfortable spending multiple nights each week away from home in company-paid hotels. NO WEEKENDS. ### Schedule - Full-time, Monday through Friday - Typical work hours: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM - Travel is required throughout the assigned territory - Overnight travel is a regular part of this position - Home on weekends - No weekend work ### Compensation - Daily salary - Earned sales commission - Meal allowance/per diem provided for overnight travel - Paid holidays - Some holidays include extended paid time off ### Company Provides - Company service/sales van - Company fuel card - 100% of required hotel expenses - Meal allowance/per diem for overnight travel - Company work attire: shirts, hoodies, jacket/coat, hats & beanies ### Job Responsibilities - The Traveling Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing and developing customer accounts throughout the assigned territory. Responsibilities include: - Traveling to established customer locations - Building and maintaining strong customer relationships - Selling company products and services - Identifying additional customer needs and sales opportunities - Developing new business within the assigned territory - Completing required sales and customer documentation - Maintaining the company vehicle and assigned company equipment - Communicating professionally with customers and company management - Working independently while traveling throughout the territory ### Requirements Applicants must: - Be comfortable traveling Monday through Friday - Be willing and able to stay in hotels during the workweek - Be dependable and have a strong work ethic - Be able to work independently with limited supervision - Have excellent customer service and communication skills - Be organized and able to manage a large travel territory - Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record - Be comfortable driving significant distances throughout Wyoming, the Nebraska Panhandle, and western South Dakota in any and all-weather conditions. - Be able to pass required pre-employment screening ### Important**** This position is designed for someone who genuinely enjoys traveling. Travel and overnight hotel stays are not occasional---they are a regular and essential part of the job. All required work travel expenses are covered by the company, including the company vehicle, fuel, hotels, and applicable meal allowance/per diem.
