The Finance Analyst III leads complex financial analyses, modeling, and forecasting activities that support strategic decisions and operational performance across the organization. The role applies full professional proficiency to analyze results, monitor trends, investigate variances, and recommend actions that improve financial outcomes. With moderate decisionmaking authority, the Finance Analyst III refines analytical methods, enhances reporting tools, and influences work processes within the team. The position also serves as a technical resource to colleagues by sharing expertise, supporting crossfunctional initiatives, and contributing meaningfully to team goals and financial planning processes. Key Accountabilities Lead Complex Financial Analysis & Decision-Support Modeling Develop, maintain, and refine financial models to evaluate performance, assess scenarios, and support strategic and operational decisions Conduct detailed analysis of financial results, identifying drivers of performance and translating insights into meaningful recommendations Investigate variances against forecasts, budgets, and historical trends, and escalate significant issues when needed Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for leaders, using visualizations and narrative explanations where appropriate Support Forecasting, Budgeting, & Multi-Period Financial Planning Contribute to the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by preparing schedules, assumptions, and supporting analyses Validate inputs and assumptions to ensure accuracy, alignment, and consistency with organizational expectations Model alternative scenarios to assess financial risks and opportunities, and recommend adjustments as conditions evolve Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to gather data, refine assumptions, and ensure shared understanding of financial drivers Monitor Business Performance, Variances, & Key Financial Metrics Track actual performance against expectations, flag emerging trends, and provide timely updates to stakeholders Conduct rootcause analysis for material variances and prepare summaries that explain...
