(ATSE: INLOT).The Role: The course maintenance position, under supervision of the golf course superintendent and/or assistant superintendent, performs work involving the use of various equipment, including tractors, rollers, mowers, aeration equipment, small trucks and other maintenance equipmentResponsibilities: * Operates various types of equipment, including but not limited to, walk behind mowers, triplex mowers, large area reel and rotary style mowers, blowers, sprayers, various heavy equipment and hand-held tools and equipment.* May operate smaller equipment as directed by his/her supervisor.* Ensure that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.* Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the equipment manager or assistant superintendent and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.* Hand watering of playing surfaces.* Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.Qualifications: * Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment.* Mechanical aptitude.* Ability to follow oral and written directions.* Possession of a valid driver's license.Ability to lift 50 pounds* Good communication skills* Neat and clean appearanceWhat's in it for you: * Competitive Salary with annual performance reviews * Comprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision * 401(K)/ Company Match * Access Perks and Childcare discountsTarget Salary Range: (min $16.50 mid $19.00 max $22.00) Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
