Description We are looking for an attorney to join our estate planning and probate practice in Severna Park, Maryland. This role offers the chance to advise individuals and families on important legal decisions while growing within a collaborative firm that values thoughtful counsel, professionalism, and strong client relationships. The position is well suited for a lawyer who combines solid technical knowledge with empathy, sound judgment, and a practical approach to resolving sensitive matters.
Responsibilities:

Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including the preparation and review of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.

Guide families and personal representatives through probate and estate administration matters from initial filing through final resolution.

Conduct client meetings to understand objectives, explain legal options, and provide clear recommendations tailored to each situation.

Draft, analyze, and revise legal documents with attention to accuracy, compliance, and the client’s long-term goals.

Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining responsive communication and a high standard of client service.

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop effective solutions and ensure matters progress smoothly.

Represent clients in probate-related proceedings, hearings, and communications connected to estate administration when needed.

Contribute to the continued growth of the practice by building trusted client relationships and supporting a positive team environment. Requirements • At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably in estate planning, probate, or estate administration.

Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and provide confident, compassionate legal guidance.

Strong drafting skills for estate planning documents and related legal filings.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and a client-focused approach to legal practice.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment.

Licensed to practice law and in good standing, with the ability to work in a primarily in-office setting.
