Summary
You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD GREAT LAKES.
Duties
- You will provide a full range of clerical and administrative services and customer service including general administration, office automation, and clerical support as well as program analyses and compilation of progress reports and statistics.
- You will maintain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) standards for all documentations, to include disposal.
- You will liaison with various departments both externally and internally to facilitate the transfer of students.
- You will provide technical assistance and counseling to officer and enlisted personnel concerning advancements, housing allowances, officer/enlisted programs, statement of service, per diem, lodging entitlements, etc.
- You will interpret and makes determination for subordinates in matters regarding regulations, procedures, entitlements and the processing of military pay within the section.
- You will check in students and makes student diary entry in Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) to make updates to their records.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of training and education program requirements to manage student, course, and personnel data; 2) Analyzing information, interpreting guidance, and resolving administrative issues to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; 3) Interpreting and applying technical rules, regulations, precedents, and organizational guidance to support training and education program administration; 4) Using automated systems to input, track, verify, and maintain accurate records and reports; 5) Communicating effectively in writing and orally to provide guidance, respond to inquiries, and support decision-making; AND 6) Performing clerical and organizational support functions, including records management, form processing, and office support activities, to sustain efficient operations within the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Learning Sites, and related programs.
