Summary
This position is part of the Department of War (DoW), Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The incumbent will be responsible for: Serving as the Component Property Lead (CPL) and Chief of the Enterprise Accountability Property Office for the Missile Defense Agency.
Duties
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. As a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist at the NH-0346-4 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as the Component Property Lead (CPL) and Chief of the Enterprise Accountability Property Office for the Missile Defense Agency. As CPL, execute the responsibilities outlined in DoDI5000.64, and serve as the primary point of contact for the DoD Component regarding property accountability. Direct, develop and perform property management operations that include planning, coordinating and evaluating associated logistics actions required to support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) goals and mission. Interface with internal and external (OSW) auditors, MDA program office personnel, Defense Logistics Agency, and various OSW offices on all things related to property accountability management. Enable Agency Accountable Property Officer's (APO) and help ensure they are trained and strategically placed and appointed as needed within the organization. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capability of employees; provide technical oversight and instruction on administrative matters; develop performance plans and rate employees; recommend hiring, promotion, or reassignment; take disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands; identify developmental and training needs of employees; and, provide and/or arrange for needed development and training. Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH-04 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 3 of the 5 specialized experience listed below to be qualified: Experience in supply and logistics management concepts and techniques and experience in property accountability process and procedures to plan, acquire, track and dispose of integrated weapon systems and components. Provide guidance and recommend solutions to program executives, senior officials (General Officers and Senior Executive Service members) and military and civilian leaders on all things related to property accountability and audit preparation. Establish and maintain accurate property records within the approved Accountable Property System of Record for all assigned General Equipment, Operating Materials & Supplies and Government Furnished Material. Facilitate the development and execution of comprehensive physical inventory plans to ensure floor-to-book and book-to-floor accuracy. Ensure property is properly and uniquely identified and accurately documented for auditors. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

DAWIA (Back to Basics) Certification: NON-CAP: Position requires DoD Acquisition Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced certification. Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 48 months after entry into this position.
