Full job description

Solution Architect, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you ready to turn complex mission needs into working technical solutions? As a Solution Architect, you'll help shape the architecture of a cloud-native Digital Twin and Modeling & Simulation platform that brings military test ranges into a connected, data-driven future.

You'll translate stakeholder and mission requirements into end-to-end solution designs that connect data capture, 3D content pipelines, physics-based simulation, asset management, and real-time visualization across AWS GovCloud and on-premises environments. You'll lead trade studies, evaluate emerging technologies, and document architecture decisions that guide engineering teams from prototype to production. Working closely with government stakeholders, platform engineers, developers, and UX teams, you'll make sure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with DoD accreditation requirements. In this role, you'll sit at the center of the platform's technical direction. You'll also have the chance to grow into broader architecture leadership as the capability expands.

Help us architect the next generation of test and evaluation infrastructure.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or cloud engineering

  • 2+ years of experience in a solution or technical architecture role

  • Experience designing cloud-native architectures on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and serverless services

  • Experience designing solutions that integrate multiple platforms, data sources, and third-party tools through APIs and event-driven patterns

  • Experience producing architecture artifacts such as solution designs, diagrams, interface definitions, and decision records

  • Experience conducting technology evaluations and trade studies and presenting recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS GovCloud and hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures

  • Experience with Digital Twin, modeling and simulation, or 3D geospatial platforms such as OpenUSD, NVIDIA Omniverse, Cesium, Unreal, or Unity

  • Experience with 3D content and data pipelines, including LiDAR, point cloud processing, photogrammetry, or GIS data

  • Experience integrating physics-based simulation tools such as Ansys into larger platforms

  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerized architectures, and DevSecOps practices

  • Experience supporting DoD ATO, RMF, or Zero Trust architecture requirements

  • Experience supporting DoD test and evaluation, test range, or mission engineering programs

  • Secret clearance

  • AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional Certification
