Overview
The Local Marketing Manager serves as the local marketing and customer experience connection between Coolray Atlanta operations and Wrench Marketing. This role brings the Coolray Atlanta brand to life in the community by activating local marketing strategies, building strategic partnerships, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying opportunities that support growth.
This position works closely with local leadership, operations, service line managers, and Wrench Marketing to ensure marketing investments are aligned with business priorities, local market opportunities, and the capacity of the operation to convert demand into revenue.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, proactive, relationship-driven marketer who enjoys being in the community, building partnerships, creating engaging content, supporting events, and connecting marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
The Local Marketing Manager is responsible for driving local brand visibility, community engagement, customer loyalty, and market growth for Coolray Atlanta.
This role serves as a visible representative of the Coolray Atlanta brand throughout the Atlanta market and develops relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, events, sponsorship partners, and other local influencers.
Working closely with operations and Wrench Marketing, the Local Marketing Manager identifies market opportunities, coordinates local activations, supports customer experience initiatives, and provides local insights that help the business improve lead conversion, reputation, retention, membership growth, and revenue.
Success in this role requires more than executing marketing activities. The Local Marketing Manager must understand what is happening in the business, why it matters, and how marketing can help drive the desired outcome.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
Local Marketing & Community Engagement
-
Develop and execute local marketing initiatives that increase Coolray Atlanta's visibility, customer engagement, and market presence.
-
Coordinate local promotions, events, sponsorships, community partnerships, grassroots initiatives, and brand activations.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, nonprofits, event organizers, and strategic partners.
-
Identify new opportunities to increase brand awareness and establish Coolray Atlanta as a trusted local service provider.
-
Represent Coolray Atlanta professionally at community events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and other market-facing activities.
-
Maintain an active understanding of local market trends, competitors, community activity, and customer needs.
Field & Operations Partnership - Partner closely with the General Manager, service line leaders, operations teams, and other local leaders to:

Understand current business priorities, growth objectives, capacity, and service-line needs.

Identify local market opportunities and customer experience gaps.
-
Recommend local marketing opportunities that support business priorities.
-
Identify opportunities to support HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Drain, Indoor Air Quality, Generator, and other service lines as appropriate.

Develop local promotional ideas and communicate recommendations to Wrench Marketing for consideration in the broader marketing calendar.

Bring customer, community, and market insights back to local leadership and Wrench Marketing.

Help ensure marketing activity is aligned with operational readiness and the team's ability to convert demand into revenue.
Partnership with Wrench Marketing - Work collaboratively with Wrench Marketing to:

Execute approved local marketing strategies and campaigns.
-
Develop and distribute local marketing materials, event collateral, promotional items, community assets, and brand activation materials.
-
Provide local market insight to help inform marketing strategy, messaging, and campaign priorities.
-
Monitor local marketing performance, including lead quality, bookings, revenue impact, and customer response.
-
Identify underperforming activities and recommend opportunities to optimize local marketing investments.
-
Ensure local activities follow Coolray/Wrench brand standards, approved messaging, compliance requirements, and company guidelines.
-
Maintain alignment between local execution and enterprise marketing priorities.
Customer Experience & Reputation
-
Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring themes, concerns, and opportunities.
-
Partner with operations to identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and overall customer experience.
-
Support online reputation management, including Google Review growth, review quality, review generation, and NPS performance.
-
Help identify opportunities to turn positive customer experiences into reviews, referrals, testimonials, and local brand advocacy.

Support initiatives designed to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and repeat business.

Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with existing customers and increase share of wallet.
Customer Growth & Retention - Support local initiatives that drive:

Membership growth and engagement.

Customer reactivation.
-
Retention and repeat purchase behavior.
-
Cross-selling between service lines.
-
Customer loyalty and referrals.
-
Increased share of wallet among existing customers.

Awareness and adoption of new or growing service offerings.
The Local Marketing Manager should continually look for opportunities to answer: “How can we deepen the relationship we already have with this customer?”
Content & Social Media

Capture and curate authentic local content that showcases the Coolray Atlanta brand.

Photograph and record appropriate events, community involvement, employee stories, customer moments, partnerships, and local activities.

Create or provide engaging organic content for appropriate social and marketing channels.
-
Identify compelling local stories that can be amplified through Wrench Marketing and broader brand channels.
-
Ensure content reflects Coolray Atlanta's brand standards, culture, people, and community presence.
Qualifications
Do I Have What it Takes?
Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience in local marketing, field marketing, community engagement, event marketing, customer experience, reputation management, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and represent a brand professionally in the community.
-
Experience creating or capturing engaging organic social media content.
-
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong relationship-building skills with field leaders, operations teams, vendors, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Ability to learn and effectively use business systems, marketing platforms, customer feedback tools, and reporting systems.
-
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to work independently.
-
Business-minded approach with the ability to evaluate information, recognize opportunities, and recommend practical action.

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events, sponsorships, and local activations.
-
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods during events and activations.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in home services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drain, retail, franchise, field services, or a multi-location environment.

Experience working directly with operations or field leadership.

Experience managing community partnerships, sponsorships, events, or grassroots marketing.

Experience with customer lifecycle marketing, retention, membership, loyalty, or reactivation initiatives.

Familiarity with Google Reviews, NPS, customer satisfaction programs, and reputation management.

Experience using CRM, customer, operational, or business intelligence dashboards.
-
Experience working with agencies, vendors, community organizations, and sponsorship partners.

Photography and video experience, including capturing field content and producing engaging marketing assets.

Understanding of local market competition and consumer behavior.
Relevant Systems & Tools

ServiceTitan or similar operational/customer management systems.

Microsoft Office 365 — Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
