Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Managing and serving as technical expert on regulatory compliance projects spanning a variety of technical areas such as petroleum and chemical bulk storage, storm water, hazardous waste, air quality, etc. * Complete marketing and business development activities * Provide proposal development, project estimating, and technical document preparation * Complete field activities * Prepare various technical reports, permits, and plans * Overseeing project financials and staff execution of project tasks * Complete quality assurance review of others' work * Provide staff management and developmentSkills/Education/Experience * Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations * 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients preferred * A bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, geology or related programs * Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills * A valid driver's license * A willingness to travel and undertake overnight travel, if necessary * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeEstimated Compensation Range and Benefits$70,000 - $90,000/year**Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.Learn about our comprehensive BenefitsWHO WE ARE: C&S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
