Minimum 2 years of recent experience performing stainless steel TIG welding, stainless steel MIG welding, and carbon steel MIG welding. 2. Proven ability to perform machine and fixture set-ups independently. 3. Ability to successfully pass a hands-on welding test. 4. Experience welding materials ranging from 20-gauge sheet metal to thick-wall tubing. Preferred Qualifications 1. Strong grinding, finishing, and weld dress-up skills. 2. Familiarity with metric measurements and dimensions. 3. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. 4. Ability to inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy. Physical Capabilities 1. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. 2. Frequently work with welding equipment, tools, and fabricated materials. 3. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. 4. Must provide personal welding helmet and basic hand tools. Job Duties 1. Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components according to specifications and blueprints. 2. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment to support production goals. 3. Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. 4. Grind, clean, and dress finished welds to meet appearance and customer requirements. 5. Follow all workplace safety procedures and collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
