Full job description

McKesson is an impact-driven, Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. We are known for delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. Here, we focus on the health, happiness, and well-being of you and those we serve - we care. What you do at McKesson matters. We foster a culture where you can grow, make an impact, and are empowered to bring new ideas. Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you. About the Role This summer, you'll join a B2B healthcare product marketing team and help accelerate its impact - using AI to move from one-off prompts to autonomous, workflow-level agents that change how the team operates. CoverMyMeds is seeking a curious, analytical intern interested in the craft of product marketing (positioning, messaging, buyer insight, enablement, go-to-market) and sees AI as a force multiplier for that craft, not a substitute for it. The ideal candidate is a marketer at heart: passionate about understanding buyers, shaping how products are positioned and brought to market, and telling stories that resonate - and excited to apply AI to do all of it faster, sharper, and at greater scale. What You'll Do - Doing the PMM work, faster - you'll help drive smarter product marketing workstreams - product positioning and messaging, buyer and competitive insights, commercial enablement, go-to-market support - and use AI to move through them. - Moving from assistants to agents - help us graduate from one-off AI prompts to repeatable, semi-autonomous workflows that run parts of our process. - Driving participation - be a champion for AI adoption across the team: demo tools, run enablement sessions, lower the barrier to entry for teammates who are AI-curious but not yet AI-confident. - Measuring success - help define what "AI-enabled product marketing impact" means, then build the tracking. - Optimizing impact with AI - find the highest-leverage places where AI can speed up actionable market signals, sharpen messaging, or scale our output, and prove it with results. - Where you might plug in (you won't do all of these - you'll go deep where the business needs you most): - Positioning & messaging - Personas & segmentation - Sales enablement - Go-to-market planning What You'll Gain - Hands-on experience in B2B healthcare technology and product marketing, with a dedicated mentor. - Exposure to how a Fortune-class healthcare business runs product marketing. - Ownership of 1-2 projects, giving experience applying AI and automation to real business challenges. - Opportunities to influence how a modern marketing organization evolves from traditional workflows to AI-powered ways of working. Qualifications - A marketing student - pursuing Marketing, Business, Communications, or related degree- with a genuine interest in product marketing craft (positioning, messaging, buyer insight) and a curiosity for AI amplification. - Strong interest in AI, marketing technology, and innovation. - Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. - Experience with generative AI tools such as Copilot, Writer, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar. - Comfort with ambiguity, a bias towards action and curiosity about healthcare Success in This Role By the end of the internship, you will have helped increase Product Marketing output, accelerated research and content development, improved AI adoption across key workflows, and contributed to measurable gains in team efficiency and strategic impact. Join us in helping redefine the future of Product Marketing through AI.<
