SUMMARY: This Respiratory Therapist opportunity is Per Diem and a convenient day shift schedule. Under the supervision of the Critical Care Director, Medical Director and Respiratory Department Supervisor, the respiratory therapist is responsible for providing Respiratory Care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures. MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: - Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure or eligible. - Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy. - BLS and ACLS certification. - PALS certified within 90 days. - Ability to use ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, IPPB, IPV, pulse oximetry, and bedside spirometry. - Ability to perform chest PT. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Maintains knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment. Remains alert, assesses possible side effects to oxygen delivery.
