Key Responsibilities

  • Instructs, onboards, and guides personnel on technical procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.

  • Maintains technical equipment repair procedures are up to date, and ensures optimal performance through regular inspections.

  • Helps develop and implement technical training procedures and protocols.

  • Assist in developing and implementing goals, objectives, and policies for Field Training Staff.

  • Develop and implement safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, such as DOT and OSHA.

  • Prepare reports on trainer activities, performance, and educational costs.

  • Maintain organized technician files, record training requests, and manage the regional reports accordingly.

Competencies and skills

  • Significant direct industry experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be comfortable using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and stay organized is crucial for coordinating operations effectively.

  • Must be able to think critically and solve problems quickly, especially under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of the specific equipment and systems being supported.

  • Ability to inspire, make decisions, and set an example for the team.

  • Skill in explaining complex technical concepts clearly to others.

  • Analytical and lateral thinking to address technical challenges.

  • Must participate in, hold, and actively pursue industry relevant certifications, (Manufacturer, EPA, OSHA, etc)
