Full job description

Description We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring initiatives for a high-tech organization in the pharm/biotech space in Middleton, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract position will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, helping hiring teams attract, evaluate, and secure strong talent across a range of functions and levels. The role requires a proactive recruiting specialist who can balance strategic sourcing, stakeholder partnership, and a high-quality candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete recruitment lifecycle, from kickoff discussions with hiring managers through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and final closeout.

  • Build and sustain talent pipelines for both immediate openings and future workforce needs using market research and ongoing outreach.

  • Identify and engage prospective candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, industry communities, and other targeted sourcing channels, including passive talent.

  • Keep search activity moving by organizing interviews, tracking progress, and encouraging timely feedback and hiring decisions.

  • Advise hiring leaders on talent availability, compensation trends, and practical recruiting strategies to improve hiring outcomes.

  • Represent the company to candidates by clearly communicating its culture, opportunities, and overall value proposition.

  • Maintain accurate requisition and candidate records in the applicant tracking system and use recruiting data to monitor performance and improve results.

  • Partner with HR, marketing, and business leaders to strengthen employer branding, support workforce planning, and manage agency involvement when needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related area.

  • At least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, with demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting.

  • Strong capability in direct sourcing and identifying passive candidates through research tools and industry networks.

  • Experience recruiting for multiple job types, functions, or organizational levels in a corporate environment.

  • Solid interviewing and candidate evaluation skills, with the ability to assess fit against role requirements.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.

  • Proven ability to manage several open searches at once while adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.

  • Familiarity with tools and practices related to LinkedIn recruiting, talent branding, and recruiting process effectiveness. TalentMatch®
