Position Overview:

Our internship program is designed for students enrolled in an accredited university or college who are interested in developing on-the-job skills, experiences and insights that last a lifetime. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will have opportunities to learn about several areas of our business, network and collaborate with Ball leaders, and get involved in challenging project work.

Procurement Interns will gain knowledge in multiple areas of the procurement and supply chain organization while working on various projects throughout the summer. The interns will support procurement initiatives, perform data analysis, and contribute to supplier management and process improvement activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Support procurement-related projects, analyses, and strategic sourcing activities.

  • Assist with supplier communications, data collection, and performance tracking initiatives.

  • Analyze internal and external data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.

  • Support cost savings, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and other business partners to support procurement objectives.

  • Assist with reporting, presentations, and recommendations for procurement projects.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to day-to-day procurement activities.

  • Work with other interns and team members on projects that support organizational goals.

  • Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.

What We Are Seeking:

  • Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Project Management, or other related disciplines at an accredited 4-year college or university.

  • And has completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.

  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate findings effectively.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $24 - $26 (hourly rate is dependent on education level)

  • May be eligible for additional housing benefits.

  • Onsite Work Environment: This position is based in Westminster, CO and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site 4 days per week (flexible Friday remote). Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
