Role Overview:

Serves as an Engineering assistant for INDOT Office and Field support for the ground penetrating radar, plate load test etc . Incumbent will perform the following tasks to assist with the Innovative geotechnical field assistance:

  • Document (plans, shop drawings, geotechnical reports) search for the Contract request for information.

  • The incumbent may assist in geotechnical laboratory testing. Field check, taking photos and verification of planned work including visual quality inspection for the geotechnical engineering.

  • Incidental office work such as scanning, printing, making photocopies, cleaning equipment, organizing etc.

  • The employee is needed to assist with essential tasks to support proper vetting, execution and updating the geotechnical construction testing.

  • The employee should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office as they will be assisting with various product lists and project databases.

Location:

This position is with INDOT's Central Office, Materials & Test.

Pay Rate:

This position pays an hourly rate of $20.00.
