Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RCDD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in designing, developing, and testing information processing hardware, with a particular emphasis on structured cabling systems and telecommunications infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and client-facing skills to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware including computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.

• Design new products and modify existing products to meet client specifications and industry standards.

• Develop technical specifications for production and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

• Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions to optimize performance.

• Test hardware to ensure it meets performance specifications.

• Provide guidance and leadership to junior hardware engineers and may assume supervisory responsibilities.

• Serve as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to understand and meet their needs effectively.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and industry standards.

• Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Required: Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification.

• Highly Preferred: Experience in RCDD cost estimation.

• Minimum of 5 years of related hardware engineering experience.

• At least 5RCDD RD years of experience in developing layout and design for technology systems, including voice, data, and structured cabling.

• Expertise in BICSI rules, regulations, and standards.

• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, industry standards, and other applicable codes related to the design and layout of IT, low voltage, and telecommunications systems.

• Strong knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems from both installation and basic design perspectives.
