Shop Manager / Production and Quality Control Manager

Seal Craft LLC in Devils Lake, North Dakota, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Shop Manager / Production and Quality Control Manager position. Seal Craft manufactures specialized inflatable jet boats, Air Drive units, search-and-rescue boats, trailers, and related marine equipment. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, employees, production scheduling, assembly, testing, inventory, safety, and final quality control. The Shop Manager will: and#9679; Plan production schedules and assign daily work. and#9679; Supervise, train, and hold shop employees accountable. and#9679; Monitor productivity, workmanship, and project deadlines. and#9679; Assist with mechanical, electrical, fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting work. and#9679; Coordinate engine, steering, electrical, fuel-system, accessory, and final-rigging installations. and#9679; Manage tools, equipment, parts, materials, and inventory. and#9679; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop. and#9679; Inspect every Seal Craft product during production and before delivery. and#9679; Conduct or oversee operational, inflation, leak, water, and performance testing when applicable. and#9679; Complete final quality-control documentation and prevent incomplete or defective products from being delivered. and#9679; Assist with customer pickups, product demonstrations, warranty concerns, and dealer support. Preferred candidates will have management or supervisory experience in marine manufacturing, powersports, fabrication, automotive service, equipment manufacturing, or a related mechanical industry. Strong mechanical ability, electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, organization, and leadership experience are important. Experience with outboard motors, fuel systems, trailers, welding, fabrication, electrical systems, inflatable boats, or UTV-style engines is beneficial but not required. Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota Employment type: Full-time Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate with extensive marine manufacturing and management experience.
