Full job description
This is a Temporary Position. Dates of employment are 1/1/2027 to 7/16/2027. Prepare and maintain ornamental crops in greenhouses and/or nurseries by performing tasks such as seeding, transplanting, pruning, watering, irrigating, fertilizing, and other crop care activities. Harvest, sort, label, package, and prepare ornamental plants for shipping and sale. Crops include cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, chilis, 4-pack herbs (a combination of oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, mint, cilantro, chives, dill, parsley, sage), geraniums, eggplants, jalapeos, ferns. Clean and maintain production areas, greenhouses, workstations, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Operate greenhouse machinery, tools, and equipment, as required, following established safety procedures. Perform other general greenhouse production duties as assigned.
