Summary

About the Position: This position is with Reynolds Army Health Clinic located at Fort Sill, OK. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

  • Direct day-to-day operations, assign tasks, evaluate performance, and identify training and developmental needs of workforce.
  • Formulates budgets, justifies funding requests, and strategically allocates personnel.
  • Obtaining, allocating, and committing critical resources to advance the hospital’s clinical quality and patient safety programs.

  • Serves as key advisor on quality and safety committees to guide leadership decision-making.
  • Oversee the coordination and alignment of Patient Safety, Infection Prevention, Healthcare Risk Management, Credentialing and Privileging, Accreditation and Compliance, Clinical Measurement, and Performance Improvement activities.

Basic Requirements for Supervisory Health System Specialist: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and managing health care programs; monitoring facility performance and preparing reports; and coordinating with clinical and administrative leadership on healthcare administrative policies, programs, and operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
